Ordering
Pork is available in the fall and, in limited quantities, in the spring. In order to comply with food safety regulations, we sell the animals in either 1/2 or whole interest for $1.00/lb live weight and then process it to your specification for a total of around $3.50/lb cut and wrapped.Our older animals, which have reached the end of their productive lives, are available as whole hog sausage for $.90/lb live weight plus grinding and packaging equaling $4.00/lb ready for your freezer.
A whole hog provides from 130 to 160 lbs of cut and wrapped pork. A sausage hog can make upwards of 200 lbs of sausage.
